ecomobiel 2009
The trade fair
On 22 and 23 September the ecomobiel trade fair took place in the Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam. On the exhibition floor of 4500 m2 all kinds of leading companies in the field of sustainable mobility were gathered.
The conferention
During the ecomobiel trade fair the conferention "On the way to sustainable mobility" was organised. The conferention took place in Hogeschool INHolland Rotterdam, where visitors of the conferention were brought to in a special Connexxion bus.
Young innovators
Every company currently working out an idea, solution or product in the field of sustainable mobility was able to subscribe to one of the 20 Young Innovator. Our professional jury selected the best idea and handed out the Rabobank Young Innovator award to the company Ephicas. The award was a money price of 5000,- Euro.
Workshop
ecomobiel is not only about the trade fair. Contestants organised workshops in specially designed rooms on the exhibition floor. The workshops were about the most important developments and innovations concerning sustainable mobility.
Test track
ecomobiel was not only meant to talk about sustainable mobility but also to experience it. That is why, next to the Cruise Terminal a test track was designed where the newest 'green' vehicles could be tested.
The VIP dinner
On Wednesday the 23rd of September 2009 the 'Nieuwe Maze'sailed with a select company trough the Rotterdamse harbour.
ecomobiel rally
On Thurdsay the 3rd and Friday the 4th of June the first ecomobiel rally was held in Arnhem. On the estate of 'Groot Warnsborn' the various companies, press agents and interested people gathered for the race.
