Net congestion is already shaping fleet electrification decisions. This practical session shows how depot charging can be designed for long-term growth, not just today’s constraints, by combining smart charging, integrated energy systems and software.
Using real-world fleet and depot examples, VEV will explore how net limits can become an optimisation challenge rather than a blocker. The session covers the role of hardware, solar, batteries, energy management and operational software in creating extra charging capacity, reducing peaks and making electric fleets more reliable, scalable and cost-efficient over the next 10 years.
What exactly will you, as a visitor, get out of this practical session?
- Attendees will leave with a clear starting point for their own depot charging action plan
- How to turn net congestion from blocker into a design challenge
- Learn what to assess in their own fleet and depot and how to identify where extra capacity can be created and what practical steps they can take next
