“Webasto will present its strategy for charging solutions, and the upcoming Webasto LIVE, which is taking intelligent charging to the next level. As an automotive tier 1 supplier from Germany, Webasto is transferring its quality and manufacturing know-how into the world of EV charging, and will show what an integrated Wallbox design can offer when engineered to cost and function. Paired with innovative connectivity services developed with Dutch experience in the chargepoint management field, Webasto is going to offer a new integrated proposition for European customers in more than 10 countries.

Daniel Medawar is responsible for the international market roll-out and market-entry of Webasto Charging Solutions. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Management from the University of Oxford, and continued with research about electric vehicles and renewable energy generation at Cambridge University. After starting his career as a strategy consultant, Daniel joined BMW in 2013 to launch BMW i in 5 markets and implement plug-in vehicles in the entire dealer network. Before founding his own company Daniel developed a residential car-sharing for Audi in Hong Kong. Besides electric cars Daniel's passions are rowing, cycling and travelling the world for new ideas and tastes.”
